About Ginger Scherbarth, Owner/Consultant

After 15 successful years in Corporate Human Resources, Ginger began offering her expertise to consulting clients in the areas of benefits, wellness, work-life, management training, mergers/acquisitions and communications.  

Experience
Prior to ANOVIA, Ginger held leadership roles in two public companies.  Most recently, she served as Director, Human Resources for radio broadcasting company, Regent Communications.  In this role, she developed the HR infrastructure of all functional areas and set the strategic direction for 10 years.  This included development of the first company policy manual, performance review system, bonus program, employee relations process and consolidation of 13 different medical plans.  She also implemented programs to support compliance such as FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, and Code of Ethics/Whistleblower.  Ginger was also a frequent presenter of key HR topics to the Board of Directors and Board Committees, as well as the CEO and EVP, and was a key advisor to Vice Presidents in remote locations on workforce management/employee relations issues.

Before heading up HR at Regent Communications, Ginger held various HR leadership positions at LensCrafters Corporate Office (now part of Luxottica) including Benefits Manager, Compensation Manager, Associate Relations Manager and Health Promotion Specialist.  

Educational Background
While at Ball State University, Ginger double majored in Human Resources Management and Exercise Physiology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Ginger went on to University of Cincinnati where she earned a Masters degree in Health Education.

Ginger has earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation.  She is WELCOA Well Workplace Level IV certified and recently gained WELCOA Faculty Status due to her extensive training in workplace wellness.
